Stevie Cooper

Stevie Cooper is my fair maiden on my personal odyssey. Yes, she is my high school girlfriend but she is also more than that. She is my bestfriend. I don't believe that she is like every other girl in the way the she understands me. She is nothing like me yet she connects with me and is always there, even when I am not doing the right thing. She is like the angel on my sholder. She always gives me good advice, when she knows what shes talking about. She is very rational and she says "Oh stop it Thomas" a lot. She is a big Christian which is a very good asset to me. I am not as close with God as I wish to be and it is good for me to be around someone so strong in faith. Stevie and I have a very close relationship and she really helps get me through high school. Acceptance is one of the things that almost every teenager wants, but with Stevie I really don't care. She doesn't care about the cloths I wear. she never complains when my hair looks bad. she doesn't care if I am broke out. These are the kind of things that make me feel important. I honestly don't think that anyone understands how much I really need Stevie.

Thomas' struggle to be Understood.

Being different is hard in high school. Not many people understand me. The way I come off is not the way that I truely am. Some people see me as a stuck up guy. That is not me. Some people think that I am some sort of bad boy. That is not me. Some people think that I have it made and that I face no problems. That is really not me. Who is Thomas exactly? The real Thomas' is actually a very nice guy. Not many people get to know him. He helps out kids who are lost on their Journey. He is a very loyal friend who is always there to talk to. He is blessed for some reason with a smart head on his shoulders. Even though he sometimes acts dumb and not smart at all, he actualy is. He is very emotional. He crys a lot. One could say he was a baby. He wouldn't care though because he has a very strong will and doesn't care what people think. The only thing he wishes is that people would give him a chance. I wish they would please understand.

My test of Strength Football

My test of strength is definatly always been football. It is a perfect way to show how my persistance and my "never give up" attitude. I have never really had natural talent at a sport and football was no exception. When I started in 2003 to play for the Mesquite Gators, I was really no good at all and the coaches never really gave me a chance. I could have just gave up then and quit the football team but I didn't. I kept going at it even with people telling me that I should quit. As years went by I became a little better at football every year. Finally in the 7th grade I got my chance to play. The coaches decided that I was good enough at the time to start middle linebacker. I was so excited that I finally got my chance to show what I had worked so hard for. As for right now, Football continues to be a test of strength for me. I must continue to keep working hard in football or someday I may get passed up There are more people out there who play my position and they want it just as bad as me. I believe that me not quiting football shows that I am a very strong and determined person who will work to succeed.

God

God has always been in my life since day one. I don't know why and I still ask questions all the time about it. I sometimes doubt God but it seems like every time something bad happens and I pray I always get guidence in some way. God has helped me get through many things and been there to listen when I needed someone to talk to. God has shown me how to take a loss and turn it in to a lesson to learn from. When I needed a friend God gave me one. It seems like God always knows what to do to help me. I once almost gave up on God because it seemed like I was suffering too much for there to be someone looking out for me. I was sad for months. God sent someone to find me. As God reentered I started to become happier and a better person. Although I wish that I could be a better deciple for God or have the faith of a saint, God has still always been my help from a supernatural force.

My Stirring Speech(es)

While on my journey as a hero I often have to give great pep talks and speeches to my companions. Some of my speeches are to cheer people up. I was somehow blessed with the gift to help people get through things while also boosting their confidence a little. I try to help out with problems like that whenever I can. Although my pep talks are great most of my speeches are not to make people feel better as much as try and save them. Some of my friend are on or have tried to get involved in drugs. I always give them the drug speech. I myself have watched what the effects of drugs can do to a person. My drug speeches to my friends are always very honest and truthful. I would never want to see any of my friends get hurt. I believe that my drug talks have made an impact on most of my friends. I think that they would rather hear a drug talk from someone who better understands them rather than a know-it-all grown up. I think that my speeches make me a hero.
